James S. Schneider, MD, FACC

Dr. James Schneider received his B.S.E at the University of Michigan in 1970 and his Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering at MIT in 1972.  His M.D. was earned at Dartmouth Medical School, and he did his intern and residency at the University of Minnesota and his cardiology fellowship at Yale University Medical School in New Haven, Conneticut in 1980.  Dr. Schneider joined Eastside Cardiology Associates in 1980.  His particular areas of interest are diagnostic cardiology, including echocardiography and nuclear cardiology and interventional cardiology, including angioplasty and stents.  Dr. Schneider has served as Chairman of Medicine at Evergreen Hospital and started the Nuclear Cardiology Department at Overlake Hospital.  He is Board Certified in Cardiology, is a Fellow of American College of Cardiology, a clinical professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Washington, and is a member of the American Heart Association.  He enjoys boating, cooking, and traveling with his family.
